Schafberg Gargellen - your family mountain
"Next stop the sun ..." - that's Gargellen, which, at 1,423 m, is the highest resort in Montafon. Here ancient rocks and chalk collide. Alpine roses bloom beside orchids. The beauty of Nature is unfeigned.
Imposing mountains, crystal-clear mountain water, the aroma of the wildflower meadows and a natural hospitality. The Schafberg with its varied and impressive hiking trails is the ideal family mountain: a natural paradise for sports enthusiasts, hikers and pleasure-seekers.
The 8-person panoramic cable car carries you comfortably and rapidly from the valley up to the mountain station at 2,130 m. In the modern cabins the trip up is itself a real pleasure.
