Gaschurn-Partenen - 950 m above sea level
The Gaschurn-Partenen sports complex was built in 2005. The ground is in the form of an astropitch, and is playable from the beginning of March to the end of November. Playing and training is guaranteed, even in bad weather. The ground is equipped with floodlights.
The newly constructed complex is right next to Mountainbeach, Austria's largest environmentally friendly outdoor swimming pool, and approx. 4 km from Europatreppe 4000, with its 4,000 steps the longest straight staircase in Europe. Numerous sports and leisure facilities are an invitation to train in the open air. Due to the optimum altitude of the two resorts concerned, Gaschurn and Partenen, training is especially health-promoting.
