Vandans

Colourful and rich in tradition

At the feet of the majestic Zimba and the Vandans rock wall lies the community once crowned as the most beautiful flower village in Europe. Away from the main transportation routes, Vandans exudes rural charm with lavish flower decorations on homes and gardens as well as an intriguing mixture of modern architecture and traditional Montafon houses. Many sport and recreation facilities are available year-round. The Golmerbahn cableway can take you to the skiing and hiking region of the Golm “sports mountain”. Here you will find challenging ski runs and hikes past imposing peaks as well as the crystal-clear water of the Lünersee.
