After prior registration (T. +43 5556 72290 or email), the “Kristberg mountain breakfast” in the old Montafon style (Montafon sura kees, Brösel (crumbs), bacon, fresh milk and butter, ...) can be booked daily from 8.00 am to 10.00 am. In sunny and dry weather, this takes place on the terrace of Panoramagasthof Kristberg with a wonderful view of the Rätikon and Verwall mountain ranges. In cold weather, the pleasant tables in our pub offer the right ambiance, panoramic view included.
Then there will be a tour through the age of the Montafon’s miners with Adolf Zudrell, the “flautist from the Kristberghof”. Experience the history of “St. Agatha miners’ chapel” (the oldest church in the Montafon) and the hard life of the miners. The Montafon-Klostertal mining area was once the largest anywhere in the province of Vorarlberg.
