After prior registration (T. +43 5556 72290 or email), the “Kristberg mountain breakfast” in the old Montafon style (Montafon sura kees, Brösel (crumbs), bacon, fresh milk and butter, ...) can be booked daily from 8.00 am to 10.00 am.
Then there will be a tour through the age of the Montafon’s miners with Adolf Zudrell, the “flautist from the Kristberghof”. Experience the history of the St. Agatha’s chapel (the oldest church in the Montafon) and the hard life of the miners. The Montafon-Klostertal mining area was once the largest anywhere in the province of Vorarlberg.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW!!! The miners’ tour can be conducted in any weather.
St. Agatha’s chapel offers place for up to 100 persons - making it ideal for groups and buses.
The Kristberg is an ideal starting point for various activities in the snow.
