Silbertal Miners' Christmas
From December 12 to 14, the Kristbergbahn team in Silbertal and many partners invite you to an idyllic miners' Christmas (Programme overview) with an atmospheric Christmas play, a Christmas market with high-quality products and lots of Christmas spirit. The Kristbergbahn is in continuous operation until 8 pm (until 9 pm on Fr).
Touching Christmas play in a unique setting
The atmospheric Bergknappenkapelle becomes the backdrop for the "Girl with the Brimstone Woods", which is performed twice a day.
Fanfares from the Bürgermusik brass band and alphorn players conjure up a Christmassy atmosphere, while a Christmas angel takes the children's wish lists and has small gifts ready.
On Sunday, 14 December 2025, at 4 p.m., there will also be a mountain mass in St. Agatha Chapel.
Christmas market with original Montafon products
Tasty and creative products are available at the market from the Ganahl mountain farm, NaturHandWerk Montafon, Erdzeit, Sälys Edelbrände, Keßlerhof, Geschenkwerkstatt and Schick Bestickt. The two restaurants Panoramagasthof Kristberg and Knappastoba will spoil their guests with Christmas delights.
