Why go skiing in Gargellen?

This is what our guests say:

- Guaranteed snow: Our valley station is at 1,400 m above sea level.

- Clearly arranged: Parents are always able to keep an eye on their children at the Schafberg plateau.

- Right on the doorstep: Ski in, ski out - You are right in the middle of the ski area in the mountain village of Gargellen.

- Täli: Alpine backdrop, no lift pylons, almost like being off-piste and yet with a perfect slope.

- Also for beginners: The Schafberg plateau with its blue pistes.

- Nidla: The north-east slope with 500 vertical metres of powder you don’t have to trudge through.

- Schafberg Hüsli: Truly regional delicacies - something the locals also appreciate.

- Real people: Pithy and headstrong, yet very friendly.

Madrisa circuit

The legendary tour to Switzerland and back

The circuit around the Madrisa, the 2,826 metre high group of peaks in the Rätikon, is one of the highlights of the Montafon ski paradise.

The ski tour leads along smugglers’ trails into Switzerland and back after outstanding descents and a ride on the Rhaetian railway. Anybody who has done it, will be raving about it for a long time to come. This is no easy tour, however, which also gives it its special allure. In order to do it safely, we recommend being accompanied by a local, state-certified mountain and ski guide. And being well prepared.
