An Overview of the Venues

The halfpipe competitions will take place in Kühtai. The competition venue is just a few minutes’ walk from the small town and is therefore easily accessible by both public transportation and car.

The town is located at an elevation of 2,020 m and is 35 km from Innsbruck.

The Big Air competitions will take place at the ski jump center in Tschagguns in the Montafon region. Both the snowboard and freeski competitions are within walking distance. The ski jump will be transformed into a stadium, providing an attractive venue for athletes and spectators alike.

The Golm Adventure Mountain is the venue for the moguls and aerials competitions and is easily accessible by both public transportation and car. By car, you can drive to Latschau and take the Golmerbahn up from there. There are plenty of parking options available.

Once you arrive at the mountain station, you’ll already see the moguls and aerials competition area. It’s about a five-minute walk from there.

The easiest way to reach the upper section of the moguls course is via the Hüttenkopfbahn valley station. The chairlift will take you to the top in six minutes. During the ride, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the Drei Türme and numerous other mountains.

Gargellen is located at the end of a stunning high valley at 1,500 meters above sea level and is the venue for the parallel snowboarding events.

The route to the competition venue begins at the parking lot next to the gondola that takes you up the mountain. You can already see the competition venue during the ascent. From there, you’ll just need to take one more ride on the chairlift.

A short descent to the left, past the Schafberghüsli restaurant, leads you to the Kristallbahn. The 6-person chairlift takes you to the start of the parallel course.

Nova is part of the Silvretta Montafon ski resort. The Valisera Lift 1 departs from St. Gallenkirch and takes you up the mountain. From there, take Trail No. 34 to reach the slopestyle competition venue.

At the end of the slopestyle course, the Sonnenbahn will take you back up to the top.

The Grasjochbahn, which takes you to the ski cross and snowboard cross competition venue, is located in St. Gallenkirch.

Take the Grasjochbahn up the mountain and then a short ride down to the new Fredabahn. This chairlift takes you directly to the start of the competition venue. You’ll be at the start in just a few minutes.

You’ll get your first glimpse of the course even as you’re riding up.
