We always need support

Being a helper at the M³ Montafon Mountain Bike Marathon means making this top regional event possible in the first place!

We are looking for you and your best performance when up to 600 mountain bike enthusiasts put their skills to the test in the Montafon.

We create the best possible conditions for our team of helpers - each and every volunteer will be equipped with an M³ goodie bag:

  • Snack on race day
  • Volunteer gift
  • Donation for the club

With your help, the M³ will be a special experience

A BIG THANK YOU

An event of this magnitude would not be possible without volunteers. We can only express our gratitude year after year for this incredible commitment! Without the active help of around 350 volunteers, the M³ Montafon Mountain Bike Marathon would not be possible.

In addition to the entire organizing committee team from the MTB Club Montafon and Montafon Tourism, we would also like to express our sincere gratitude to our sponsors and all the landowners along the route for their support.

Take a look behind the scenes

The people behind the event

A look behind the scenes of the M³ shows that a lot of preparation and organization is needed to make this sporting highlight an unforgettable experience for participants and spectators alike. The organizing committee—known as the OK team for short—is responsible for planning, safety, and organization of the event and coordinates the volunteers and participants involved in the M³ Montafon Mountain Bike Marathon.

Susanne (Montafon Tourism)

Susanne is the contact person at Montafon Tourism on behalf of the organizer and keeps an eye on the processes both in the run-up to and during the event—internally and externally. Susi manages scheduling, official clarifications, sponsor inquiries, and is available to answer any questions about M³.

Alexander (MTB Club Montafon)

Alexander from the Montafon Mountain Bike Club comes into play as sports director when it comes to challenging, safe route planning, altitude differences, and the positioning of refreshment stations and checkpoints. He is also responsible for ensuring that the M³ continues to develop in terms of athleticism and constantly presents participants with new challenges.

The M³ Montafon Mountain Bike Marathon has long been a fixture for ambitious cyclists in Austria. Challenging routes, impressive mountain panoramas, and a lively supporting program make the event something special—for guests and locals alike.
( br)My special thanks go to the 350 volunteers, my team, and the MTB Club Montafon. Without their commitment, the M³ would not be possible.

However, the real heroes are the athletes who take on this challenge. I wish you a successful race and many memorable moments in Montafon."

Manuel Bitschnau, Managing Director of Montafon Tourismus GmbH
