Torrent Trail Vandans

On this circular hike in Vandans, you can experience the fascination of wild streams up close. Whether it's washed-out gorges, small waterfalls, bridges, torrent barriers or rushing ‘Tobel’ – along the way, you will repeatedly encounter the power of falling water. This hike is particularly enjoyable on hot summer days, as you are always close to the cooling water and partly in the shady forest.After the hike, you will visit the ‘Aktionszentrum Naturgefahren Montafon’ (Montafon Natural Hazards Action Centre), where you will learn interesting information and insights about torrent and avalanche control in Vandans, as well as climate change, forestry and natural hazards in the Montafon.

Meeting point: 9:45 a.m. at the Golmerbahn Vandans valley station.

Route: Golmerbahn Vandans valley station – Landschisott – Mansaura – Montafon Natural Hazards Action Centre – Golmerbahn Vandans valley station.

Duration: approx. 4 hours (pure walking time: approx. 2.5 hours).

Ascent and descent: approx. 490 m
