The Montafon once again became an international stage for winter sports.
World class met wildness on the challenging course at Grasjoch in the Silvretta Montafon ski area: the best snowboarders went head-to-head in the FIS Snowboard Cross World Cup – fast-paced, spectacular and exciting right up to the finish line. Spectators experienced up close how the athletes chased each other over waves, jumps and tight turns. Adrenaline and goosebumps included.
And the excitement continued: the FIS Ski Cross World Cup also returned to the Montafon in 2026. Another top-class winter sports spectacle once again turned the region into an international stage for ski cross.

Would you like to be there when the international ski and snowboard cross elite compete for important World Cup points in Montafon? Simply register by emailing hannah.fritsche@montafon.at. Once we have checked your accreditation, you will receive confirmation with all the important information.
Entry to the FIS Snowboard Cross World Cup in Montafon is free of charge. However, for access you need a validlift ticket either a day, multi-day, season or annual ticket or a pedestrian ticket.
Arrival & parking facilities
The FIS Snowboard Cross World Cup takes place in the Silvretta Montafon ski area, near the Grasjoch Bahn mountain station. We recommend taking the Grasjoch cable car.

Free travel to the finals
For the finals on March 12 and 15, we are offering all visitors free travel to and from the event within the VVV network (bus and train) throughout Vorarlberg. This also includes trains from the border stations Lindau (Germany), St. Margrethen, Buchs (Switzerland), and St. Anton am Arlberg.
