2027 World Championships: Snowboard Parallel Giant Slalom | Qualifying & Finals
This competition promises pure thrills on the mountain. Who will keep their cool at top speed and be the first to cross the finish line?
The parallel giant slalom is one of the most exciting disciplines in snowboarding. Two athletes start at the same time on two identical courses (red and blue).

- 10:00–10:30 a.m. Women’s Qualifying
- 10:32–11:02 a.m. Men’s Qualifying
- 11:04–11:29 a.m. Women’s KnockoutRound
- 11:31–11:56 a.m. Men’s Knockout Round
- 2:00–2:16 p.m. Women’s Round of 16
- 2:16–2:32 p.m. Men’s Round of 16
- 2:32–2:40 p.m. Women's Quarterfinals
- 2:40–2:48 p.m. Men’s Quarterfinals
- 2:51–2:56 p.m. Women’s Semifinals
- 2:56–3:01 p.m. Men’s Semifinals
- 3:04–3:10 p.m. Women’s Final
- 3:13–3:19 p.m. Men’s Final
- Starting at 3:29 p.m.: Winners’ presentations and interviews in the finish area
- 7:30 p.m. Medal ceremony & entertainment program at the Medal Plaza in Schruns

All competitions as part of the 2027 World Championships, as well as the supporting program at Kirchplatz in Schruns, are free to attend. For competitions on the mountain, you’ll simply need a valid ski lift ticket. More information on ski lift tickets
