Results & Photo Service

Our timing partner RaceResult will continuously update the run times, you will find all results online at raceresult.com from the first finishes.
Our photographers from Alpha Foto will be spread out on the best spots on the course again this year and will take some souvenir photos of each participant. These will be available online on the homepage alphafoto.com in approx. 1-2 days after the event.

Equipment

No compulsory equipment is prescribed, but we appeal to the common sense of each individual. It is helpful to have a mobile phone switched on in order to be able to call for help for yourself or others if necessary.

The weather and temperature can change very quickly in high Alpine terrain. Good protection against the sun, cold and rain is necessary. Poles may be used on all routes!

Catering on the Route

Along the entire marathon route, we are able to set up a varied offer at our refreshment stations.
In addition to water, fruits and sugary berverages from our regional suppliers, our cooperation partner „Hammer Nutrition“ offers a wide variety of gels, bars and isotonic drinks.

Rules & liability

By submitting the entry form, each participant in the various competitions agrees to the competition conditions and the rules of conduct and is aware of the risk of injury in the event of a fall. It is expressly pointed out that part of the route is in high alpine terrain and sections lead through pasture areas, so caution is advised. Furthermore, all participants are subject to the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulations. No liability is accepted for theft or other damage. Start at your own risk. In particular, each participant is responsible for their physical fitness. The instructions from the race management, the marshals, doctors and helpers must be followed. Any external performance support is prohibited during the entire race. Violations of the competition rules lead to disqualification. All participants born in 2004 and older are eligible to participate (Panoramatrail: born in 2007 and older). Participants under the age of 18 are only allowed to start the Panoramatrail with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Image and film material

Image and film material will be created during the event and the supporting programme. The participants declare their consent that this image and film material be used for advertising and marketing purposes without restriction. The participants have no claim to compensation for the image and film recordings.

Disqualification

Fairness is a fundamental concern for all competitions within the Montafon Arlberg Marathon. Disqualifications may be declared by the race management without right of objection in the event of irregularities (taking shortcuts, ignoring official instructions, leaving marked routes) or seriously unsportsmanlike conduct.

Race organiser adjudications and conditions

The race management has the option of changing the routes or interrupting a race due to weather conditions.

Training

The Montafon Arlberg Marathon and the T33 present special challenges to the performance of the participants as multi-hour endurance events at 1,250 and/or 780 vertical metres. Only a well-trained runner with an absolutely healthy body can meet these prerequisites.

Shower facilities

Sufficient shower and changing facilities are available in the finish area. We especially recommend a refreshing dip in the mountain water of the Litz.
PS: Don't forget your towels and swimming equipment!
