Tour description
The final leg of the Montafon Hut Trail takes you from the high mountains of the Rätikon through the diverse cultural landscape of the Montafon, across alpine meadows and through the Matschwitz mountain village, to Latschau.
On this stage, you’ll leave the high-Alpine mountain world with its striking limestone peaks behind and return to the cultural landscape of the Montafon, shaped by alpine farming. Cultivated alpine meadows, traditional Maissäss landscapes, and views of the Rätikon peaks will accompany you along the way.
