Restaurant manager Markus Gottschalk

Markus has been managing the Schafberg Hüsli, a restaurant 2,130 m above sea level, for 9 years. During this time, he has remained true to his vision: Local ingredients, motivated employees and perfect service.

Sometimes he also spends the night in the Hüsli. This gives Markus the chance to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the mountains at sunset on our panorama terrace.

Dr'Brösl recipe

INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PEOPLE

½ l of milk, ¼ l of cream, ¼ l of water,
150 g of Riebelgrieß (semolina), 150 g of wheat semolina, 100 g of polenta, 1 pinch of salt

PREPARATION
Bring the milk, cream, water and salt to the boil in a pan. Stir in the semolina and let it cool. Add butter or clarified butter and stir if required or poke until the mass starts to crumble.
