A challenging high-alpine hut hike over the Seelücke and the Plattenjoch, taking you through the impressive mountain landscape between the Saarbrücken and Tübingen huts.
The hike connects two high-alpine huts and leads over the Seelücke and the Plattenjoch through the border region between Austria and Switzerland. Along the way, you’ll alternate between rugged alpine landscapes and impressive views of the surrounding mountains.
The route is described as a glacier-free option and leads down the Swiss side toward Schottensee before you climb back up to the Tübinger Hut. The high-alpine surroundings and the crossings over the passes make this tour a challenging route connecting the two huts.
