Approach

Coming from Bludenz, take the Bludenz/Montafon highway exit and follow the L188 into the Montafon to Schruns to the Hochjochbahn.

Public transport

Just leave your car parked

The regional buses of the Montafon Railway operate throughout the Montafon area. The main lines run hourly from Schruns station.

From Schruns station you can take bus line 650 to the Hochjoch Bahn. The stop is: Hochjoch Bahn. Return with bus line 680 from the Zentrum bus stop in Silbertal to Schruns station.

Travel by train

From Bludenz station the Montafon Railway runs hourly (sometimes every half hour). There are also direct connections from Lindau (D) and from Bregenz.

Parking

Hochjoch Bahn Schruns. It is recommended to travel by public transport.

Directions

The route starts at the mountain station of the Hochjoch Bahn and leads over a gravel road to Innerkapellalpe. From there it continues along a path through the forest down into Silbertal, whereby the last part of the way is along the road.
