Directions

From Aktivpark Montafon in Schruns-Tschagguns, you ride on the cycle path to Partenen. Through the Ganifertal valley - past the Verbellaalpe - the route leads to the impressively located Neue Heilbronner Hut with the Scheidsee. At the state border between Vorarlberg and Tyrol lies the European watershed of the Danube and Rhine. On the descent over the Silbertaler Winterjöchle, the bike has to be pushed and carried for about an hour. As a reward, enjoy a 25-kilometer-long descent through the idyllic Verwall European protected area - past untouched forests, lakes, streams, and alpine pastures in the rear Silbertal valley. From there, the route returns to the starting point at Aktivpark Montafon in Schruns-Tschagguns.

Note: Since the route passes through the Verwall European protected area, it is only open to bikers from June 15 to September 15 between 07:00 and 20:00.
