Directions
The trailhead for the Panoramaloipe is located behind the Kristbergbahn mountain station. From there, the trail takes you along the winter hiking trail through idyllic forest sections toward the Wildried high moor. On the way there, you’ll pass the Siebenbrünnele. After turning off at Wildried, the route takes a wide loop around the high moor and then follows the same path back to the starting point at the Kristbergbahn mountain station.

The recommended starting point is the Kristbergbahn mountain station.

By public transportation:
With the Montafon regional bus and the Montafonerbahn, you can get around the valley comfortably and flexibly. The train and bus connect the towns regularly, every half hour or every hour depending on the route. You can find suitable connections in the cleVVVer mobil schedule app. The bus stop for the start/end of this tour is the Kristbergbahn. You can then take the Kristbergbahn up to the Kristberg. The trailhead is located behind the mountain station.

By car:
Take the A14 to the Bludenz/Montafon exit. Then follow Montafonerstraße L188 to Schruns. Continue on Silbertalerstraße to Silbertal. Parking is available at the Kristbergbahn valley station. Parking is free in winter.

You'll find restrooms and places to eat near the Kristbergbahn mountain station and at the Panoramahof Kristberg inn.

You can use the cross-country ski trails in the Montafon for free.

If you don’t have your own equipment, there are various options for renting winter sports gear in the Montafon.

The cross-country ski trails are groomed by the relevant municipalities or mountain railways, depending on weather and snow conditions. A sufficient and stable snow cover is required for machine grooming. The current trail status is continuously updated by the responsible staff on site.

Along the route, you’ll pass the Siebenbrünnele and the Wildried high moor. The Wildried marks the highest point of the loop and offers a unique view of the Kristberg’s alpine landscape.

The Panoramaloipe trail can easily be combined with a visit to the Panoramagasthof Kristberg.
