Röbischlucht via ferrata

The Röbischlucht via ferrata, rated B/C in difficulty, is ideal for beginners and active children. A short walk leads to the start of the via ferrata, which winds its way up through the gorge just above a stream. An impressive natural spectacle unfolds alongside the roaring water. The return route takes you back to Gargellen via the scenic Ronggalpe.

Meeting point: 9.45 am or 1.45 pm at the ticket hall, Gargellen cable car valley station

Duration: approx. 2.5 hours (climbing time only: approx. 45 mins)

Getting there: Why not just leave your car behind? Our tours are timed to coincide with the bus timetable. You can reach the meeting point by public transport via the Bergbahnen Gargellen bus stop (vmobil.at). The bus (route 670) arrives at Bergbahnen Gargellen at 09:45 and 13:45. The mountain guide will, of course, take this into account. If you’re travelling in your own car, free parking spaces are available at the Bergbahnen Gargellen car park.

Uncertain weather: In wet weather and on wet rock (due to rain in the morning), climbing is highly unlikely to take place (risk of slipping) – in this case, the booking will be canceled free of charge, but there will be no alternative date in addition to the regular dates.

Age limit: 8 years and over (minimum height 1.40 metres)

Equipment:

• Closed shoes with good tread 
• Warm clothing (hat, gloves, etc.) is recommended in cold weather
