A scenic winter hike that you can discover as an enjoyable route for yourself. At mid-height, you repeatedly have the chance to enjoy a fantastic view into the valley.
Approach
Take the A14 to the Bludenz/Montafon exit and continue on Montafonerstraße L188 to St. Anton im Montafon. At St. Anton turn left (right at the train station) and follow the road to Bartholomäberg.

The regional buses run throughout Montafon. The main lines run every half hour from Schruns train station.
Bus stop at the start/finish of the route: Bartholomäberg Church / Line 84
Your route starts at the Baroque Church Bartholomäberg. Now follow the Roferweg up to Riederhof. Here you leave the paved road and turn right. From here you hike cross-country over a meadow path until you reach the paved Riederhofweg. Cross this and continue along the meadow path downhill. This leads you to the Panorama Road which you then follow to the right. From here it goes along the Panorama Road back to the Baroque Church Bartholomäberg.

Day hiking backpack (approx. 20 liters) with rain cover, comfortable and waterproof winter shoes or sturdy hiking boots, possibly crampons and gaiters, warm and weatherproof clothing in layers, hat/headband, scarf, gloves, sun and rain protection, provisions and drinking water, thermos with hot drink, first aid kit, pocket knife, mobile phone, possibly headlamp, maps, possibly telescopic poles
