Delightful brazier hike in Partenen

Together with your hiking guide Imelda, you’ll set off on an evening winter hike in Partenen. Countless lights – fire pits and lanterns – bathe the snow-covered landscape in a warm, atmospheric glow. During the walk, you’ll learn fascinating facts about energy generation in the valley and will then be treated to local specialities: a traditional Montafon ‘Brenn-suppe’ and Kaiserschmarrn at the Gasthaus zum Guten Tropfen and the Hotel Zerres. A delightful winter walk full of interesting insights and magical moments.

Meeting point: 4:30 pm Hotel Zerres Partenen

Route: Depending on weather and snow conditions, with culinary stops at Gasthaus zum Guten Tropfen and Hotel Zerres, as well as various short stops at fire pits in front of houses.

Duration: approx. 3 hours (pure walking time: approx. 2 hours) | approx. 70 metres elevation gain

Refreshmentstops: There are two culinary stops along the route where you’ll be treated to a selection of typical Montafon delicacies. Also suitable for vegetarians.

Arrival: Why not just leave your car behind? You can get to Partenen by public transport on bus route 650 (vmobil.at). If you’re travelling in your own car, there are free parking spaces available at the Alpinhotel Zerres or at the mountain railways in Partenen.

Age limit: 6 years and over

Equipment: 

• Sturdy, waterproof winter or hiking boots with good tread 
• Gaiters (if required) 
• Several layers of warm sports clothing suitable for the weather (ideally, the outermost layer should be water-repellent: hardshell jacket, winter hiking trousers/ski or cross-country skiing trousers) 
• Protection against the cold (hat/headband, thick/thin gloves) 
• Sun protection (sunglasses and sun cream) 
• Backpack with a warm drink, a snack and, if required, a seat mat 
• Hiking poles, if required

• Dogs are not allowed
• Max. 15 people per group
