Gauensteiner Hof

Our farm is located in Schruns, below the Gauenstein Monastery, and is run by our family as our primary source of income.
We have cows, pigs, and horses on the farm.

We take our young cattle to Alpe Tilisuna in Tschagguns for summer grazing. Our calves and pigs live happily in straw, and of course, they all receive tasty and healthy feed.
Food quality isn’t just a matter of perfect processing. True quality begins much earlier—namely with the rearing and care of the animals, for which we set the highest standards.

We produce meat and sausage products from Montafon straw-raised pigs and Montafon milk-fed calves, as well as vegetables grown on our own farm. In our new self-service farm store, you’ll find not only our own products but also over 40 products from other farmers in the valley.
