Directions

From the Grasjoch Bahn mountain station, follow the Alpstraße toward Alpe Zamang. The trail is pleasant and easy to follow along the alpine road, offering beautiful views as it leads you to the Alpe at 1,860 meters above sea level. The return trip follows the same route back to the Grasjoch Cable Car mountain station.

The starting point for this tour is the upper station of the Grasjoch Bahn (checkoperating hours ).

Take public transportation to the Grasjoch Bahn:
The Montafon regional bus and the Montafonerbahn offer a convenient and flexible way to get around the valley. The train and bus connect the towns regularly, every half hour or every hour depending on the route. You can find the right connection here. By car to the Grasjoch Bahn:
Take the A14 to the Bludenz/Montafon exit and continue on the Montafoner Straße L188 to St. Gallenkirch-Galgenul, where there are plenty of parking spaces available at Silvretta Park.

Since animals are kept on the alpine pastures, we ask that you behave respectfully: Keep your distance from grazing animals, carefully close pasture fences behind you, and keep dogs on a leash.
