In the Montafon, it's not just our mountains that are high - our standards of quality and hospitality are too. To keep it that way, we are making targeted investments in the future: in young people who want to help shape the future of tourism in our region with passion, inventiveness and commitment. Because they are the silent heroes who ensure that our guests feel welcome, understood and inspired day after day.

We are looking for YOU
Are you between 16 and 20 years old and currently completing a tourism training programme at a Montafon business?
Then you meet all the criteria and can send us your creative application here.
As a selected hero or heroine in tourism, you can expect a training grant of €500 and an invitation to the ‘Long Night of Stars’ on 21 November 2025.

Our tourism heroines 2024
The Tourism Heroines 2024 - Simone Prosser from the Aktiv & Spa Hotel Alpenrose, Paula Brugger from the Löwen Hotel Montafon and Jessica Rother from the Panoramagasthof Kristberg - are the three winners of the competition. Particularly noteworthy: all three award winners are 2024 apprentices and were completing their training as tourism specialists at the time. They were chosen for their commitment, their passion for the industry and their vision for the future.
Long night of the stars
At the gala evening, tourism professionals come together to celebrate the XIBERG-SKILLS winners and themselves.
