New Landscapes Are Emerging
In the area of the Rifa equalization basin, 400,000 m³ of excavated material from Kopswerk II was deposited on a former soccer field. A nutrient-poor grassland habitat with dry stone walls, hedgerows, and ponds was created on the landfill site, contributing to ecological biodiversity.
