Pfarrkirche St​.​ Anton i​.​ M​.​

In 1650, the residents of St. Anton i. M. decided to rebuild their church as a token of gratitude for being elevated to the status of an independent parish dedicated to St. Anthony the Hermit. In 1791, the church was enlarged once again, and the tower was crowned with the spire it has today. Over the following two centuries, the church underwent several renovations, during which a number of changes were made, such as lowering the altars, installing a new stone floor in the sanctuary, and adding new stained-glass windows. A comprehensive renovation of the church, which had become unavoidable, led to the decision in the 1980s to make significant architectural changes to the church, partly because the existing interior could no longer accommodate the necessary space requirements. Based on plans by architects Leopold Kaufmann and Heinz-Peter Jehly, the church was expanded on the mountain-facing side, with the historic structure preserved to the greatest extent possible.

The interior of the parish church of St. Anton i. M. is characterized by a unique blend of old and new. Of particular note is the tomb of Landamann J. J. Battlogg.
