Pfarrkirche Vandans

The parish church in Vandans was built between 1958 and 1960 and is clearly divided into three structures: the church itself, the sacristy, and the adjoining tower, which, with its slender shape and its separation from the main building, is reminiscent of a campanile. All in all: one of the most remarkable “modern” church buildings, characterized by timeless beauty and clarity, in which architects and artists—as well as the congregation’s spirit of sacrifice—have created a monument to their own legacy.
