Hiking Muttjöchle: panoramic summit for connoisseurs
A stunning panoramic view across the Montafon mountains as far as the Arlberg
On the Kristberg, a mountain popular with nature lovers, you’ll set off from the mountain station and hike through an unspoilt mountain forest shaped by the history of mining. The trail leads you gently uphill through the shady Muttwald, past blueberry bushes and alpine roses. Time and again, impressive views open up over the Verwall, Silvretta and Rätikon ranges. Once you reach the summit of the Muttjöchle, you’ll be treated to another stunning panoramic view across the Montafon mountains as far as the Arlberg, before heading back down the same route to the mountain station.
