Directions
The starting point for the Partenen village loop is in the town center near the Montafoner Schnitzstube. From there, the cross-country trail first leads you out of the valley through the village and then across the meadows surrounding Partenen. The loop heads back toward the town center and ends back at the starting point.

By public transportation:
The Montafon regional bus and the Montafonerbahn railway offer a convenient and flexible way to get around the valley. Trains and buses run regularly between the towns, every half hour or every hour, depending on the route. By car:
Take the A14 to the Bludenz/Montafon exit. Then follow the Montafonerstraße L188 through the Montafon to the center of Partenen. Parking is available at the Hotel Partenerhof and at the Vallülasaal in the center of Partenen.

Restrooms are located in the Vallülasaal, and thanks to its central location, you’ll also find various places to eat and drink in town.

You can use the cross-country ski trails in the Montafon for free.

If you don’t have your own equipment, there are several places in the Montafon where you can rent winter sports gear.

The cross-country ski trails are groomed by the relevant municipalities or mountain railways, depending on weather and snow conditions. A sufficient and stable snow cover is required for mechanical grooming. The current trail status is continuously updated by the responsible staff on site.

A visit to one of the restaurants in the town center or to the "energie.raum" at Vorarlberger Illwerke vkw will round out your cross-country skiing trip in Partenen.
