Jazz im Bergdorf mit dem Streetview Dixieclub

While we usually like to dress up for events, this is not the case here. On the contrary, for this late afternoon in the Vergaldner Wäldli, you should dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. The Vergaldner Wäldli is a natural landscape, a forest of mosses and ferns, with the Vergaldabach stream flowing through the middle. This magical place is not far from the village of Gargellen, just a few minutes' walk from the Schafbergbahn valley station. The Vergaldner Waldli has been one of the focal points of the Montafoner Resonanzen jazz festival for several years and this year will be played by the Streetview Dixieclub from Graz.

The singer and the six musicians of the Streetview Dixieclub came together through their love of music from the 20s to 40s and have been inspiring audiences with their energy and dedication since the band was founded in 2015. And perhaps when listening to these rhythms, some people in the audience will feel a little transported to Frenchman Street, the legendary music mile in New Orleans.

Please note: OUTDOOR EVENT - approx. 15 minutes' walk from the valley station to the venue - good footwear, warm clothing and windbreaker recommended
