WM 2027: Ski Cross Mixed | Finale
Teamwork meets top speed. In the grand Ski Cross Mixed Final, nations compete for World Championship gold.
The mixed format is hard to beat in terms of drama. One man and one woman form a team for their country. The race takes the form of a thrilling pursuit relay in a single-elimination format:
First, the four men race across the merciless waves, long jumps, and tight, steep turns. About 30 seconds after all the men have crossed the finish line, the gates open for the women, with a delay equal to the time it took the men to cross the finish line.
Schedule:
- 9:30–10:00 a.m. Practice
- 1:30–1:54 p.m. Mixed Round of 16 (16 teams)
- 1:57–2:09 p.m. Mixed Quarterfinals
- 2:15–2:20 p.m. Mixed third-place match
- 2:20–2:25 p.m. Mixed Finals
- Starting at 2:25 p.m.: Winners’ presentations and interviews in the finish area
- 7:30 p.m. Medal ceremony & entertainment program at the Medal Plaza in Schruns
