WM 2027: Snowboard Cross Mixed ​|​ Final

The mixed format is hard to beat when it comes to drama. One man and one woman form a team for their country. The race takes the form of a thrilling relay chase in a single-elimination format:

First, the four men race across the relentless waves, long jumps, and tight, steep turns. As soon as the first rider crosses the finish line, the gate at the start opens for his female teammate. The following women start with the exact time gap that their partners established at the finish.

Schedule:

• 9:00–9:20 a.m. Course inspection for finalists
• 9:50–10:30 a.m. Practice session for finalists
• 10:50–11:00 a.m. Preliminary rounds
• 11:00–11:20 a.m. Mixed round of 16 (16 teams)
• 11:23–11:33 a.m. Mixed quarterfinals
• 11:39–11:44 a.m. Mixed third-place match
• 11:44–11:49 a.m. Mixed finals
• Starting at 11:54 a.m.: Winners’ presentations and interviews in the finish area
• 7:30 p.m. Medal ceremony & entertainment program at the Medal Plaza in Schruns

Getting There:
The snowboard cross competitions will take place in the Silvretta Montafon ski area, near the top station of the Grasjoch Bahn. We recommend taking the Grasjoch Bahn to the venue. Further details on how to get there

Ticket Information:
All competitions as part of the 2027 World Championships, as well as the supporting program at Kirchplatz in Schruns, are free to attend. For competitions on the mountain, you only need a valid mountain railway ticket. More information on mountain railway tickets
